The OSU Library has over 160 Laptops, 30 iPads and 20 MacBooks for checkout

• All laptops are loaded with Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox.
• The laptops, iPads and MacBooks are wireless and can be used anywhere on campus that has a wireless network.
• Laptops, iPads and MacBooks can be borrowed at the Edmon Low Library Circulation Desk.
• Everyone must sign a Statement of Responsibility before using the laptops or iPads.
• Users are responsible for a laptop and/or iPad while it is checked out to them and will be charged for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment.
• A fee sheet is attached to the Statement of Responsibility.
• Overdue fines are $30/hr.

Student Laptops, iPads and MacBooks

• The loan period is five hours.
• Laptops, iPads and MacBooks can be renewed once if we do not have a waiting list. The laptop, iPad and MacBook must be brought to the Circulation Desk or you can call 405-744-6812 (if we are not busy) to renew your check-out.
• Applications and software can be installed on the laptops, iPads and MacBooks
• The laptops are setup with Drive Shield.
• Drive Shield will erase all data each time the computer is rebooted
• Please do not leave laptops, oPads or MacBooks unsupervised.
• Return laptops, iPads and MacBooks to the circulation staff, do not leave on the counter.

Faculty/Staff Laptops

• The loan period is three days.
• The laptops can be renewed ONE time.
• Faculty/Staff laptops are packaged in a convenient carrying case.
• The laptops come equipped with two drives (floppy, and DVD-RW combo), mouse, and power cord.
