North Boomer Annex

Annex Information

Hours: By appointment only

Due to budget constraints the Annex is lightly staffed. In addition, Annex personnel make frequent trips to and from the Main Library, so please be sure to call 405-744-5859 before you visit.

The North Boomer Annex contains selected books, journals, documents and other materials from the OSU Library collections. Items include those too fragile or brittle to remain in the circulating collection; selected papers, photographs or other materials from Special Collections & University Archives; print journals that are available electronically; older OSU theses and dissertations; and infrequently used books and journals.

How to Obtain or Use Annex Materials

Upon request, the Library will provide access to materials in the North Boomer Annex as follows:

Requests for Annex materials may be made electronically by completing the appropriate request forms.

Monday - Friday before 11:00 a.m. Same business day by 5:00 p.m.
Monday - Thursday after 11:00 a.m. Following business day by 5:00 p.m.
Friday 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Following business day by 9:00 a.m.
Friday after 5:00 p.m. through midnight Sunday Following business day by 5:00 p.m.

On-Site Use of Annex Materials

Except for material designated as fragile, Annex materials may be used in the public consultation room at the Annex. Materials will be retrieved from the Annex stacks by Library staff. Public access to the Annex stacks is generally restricted and there are no photocopy machines available to the public. To use Annex material on site, please call 405-744-5859 to make an appointment.

Fragile material must be requested using the process described above and may be consulted in the Special Collections & University Archives department in the Edmon Low Library, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
