Return to the OSU Library Home Page Installing EndNote X2 for Windows from CD

To Install EndNote X3 (from disk):

  1. Back up all Endnote Libraries.
  2. Uninstall any previous versions of EndNote and delete any C:\Program Files\EndNote folders.
  3. Insert the CD and follow the prompts to install the program.
  4. Click 'Finish' to end the installation process.
  5. Navigate to the CD drive and copy the 'EndNote' folder.
  6. Navigate to 'My Documents' and paste the 'EndNote' folder from the extraction folder in 'My Documents'.
