Return to the OSU Library Home Page Installing EndNote X1 for Macintosh from CD

To Install EndNote X1 for Mac (from disk):

  1. Trash any previous versions of EndNote.
  2. Insert the CD and double click on "ENX1Plus"
  3. Double click on EndNote X1 Site Installer.dmg and drag the "EndNote X1" folder to your Applications.
  4. In Applications -> EndNote X1, trash the "Connections," "Filters," and "Styles" folders you find there.
  5. In "ENX1Plus," copy the "Connections," "Filters," and "Styles" folders.
  6. In Applications -> EndNote X1, paste the folders from "ENX1Plus"
  7. Double click on the EndNote X1 application to finish installation.
