Filter files can be used in two different ways. Some electronic resources allow you to export citations directly from the database into EndNote. Others allow you to save your data in a format that EndNote can then import using the filter files.

Filter Files Download
The EndNote software you received from the Library included all of the filter files available from EndNote. This means there are many unnecessary files that can get in your way and slow down some program operations. We are now offering a .ZIP file with only the OSU-specific filter files.
File Updates
Any copy of EndNote received as of September 13, 2006 contains the OSU Customized Connection, Filter, and Style files that are available at that time. However, we recommend that you check back occasionally, as updated files are posted every few months.
NOTES:
- Before proceeding, make sure that you've closed EndNote.
- In these instructions, we refer to a folder called "EndNote." Each
version of EndNote adds its number to this basic file name; i.e., "EndNote X1" or "EndNote
8." Select the EndNote folder that appears on your computer.
