The FAO requires the use of a username and password to access FAOSTAT. When you click on the link below, you will be prompted to enter the following:

• Location: Internet-delivered database. There are three ways to connect:
  1. from a public computer in the OSU Library
  2. from an OSU campus connection in your dorm, lab or office (then select the OSU Library Website)
  3. from an off-campus connection via EZProxy (OSU ID required)
• FAOSTAT is the statistical database of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. It provides access to on-line and multilingual databases currently containing over 1 million time-series records covering international statistics in the following areas: Production, Trade, Food Balance Sheets, Fertilizer and Pesticides, Land Use and Irrigation, Forest Products, Fishery Products, Population, Agricultural Machinery, and Food Aid Shipments.
