Air transportation
San Antonio is served by the San Antonio International Airport. Most major airlines have flights into San Antonio including American West, American, ASA, Continental, Delta, Midwest Express, Southwest, and United.

Ground Transportation
The Menger Hotel does not provide a shuttle service to and from the San Antonio Airport but S.A. Trans Shuttle @ 210.981.9900 provides a shuttle service to most of the major downtown hotels. The cost is $9.00 one way and $16.00 roundtrip.

A taxi is also available for hire from the San Antonio Airport. The cost is $9.00-$11.00 one way. It will take you approximately 15 minutes to travel the 9.3 miles.

Driving instructions & hotel parking

Directions from the North: Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin
Take I35 South to I37, take right side marked Corpus Christi, exit on Commerce St. Go down Commerce Street to Alamo Plaza, make a right on Alamo Plaza to Blum St. and make another right on Crockett St.

Directions for the East or Houston
Take I10 to I37 North, exit on Commerce St. Go down Commerce Street to Alamo Plaza, make a right on Alamo Plaza to Blum St. and make another right on Crockett St.

Directions from the Airport
Come out of the Airport and go straight onto I37 South (or 281) and exit on Commerce St. Go down Commerce Street to Alamo Plaza, make a right on Alamo Plaza to Blum St. and make another right on Crockett St.

Parking for hotel guest is at the hotel off the Alamo Plaza. The parking rates are $14.00 valet plus 7.75% tax and $10.00 self-parking. There are also many parking lots within a short walk from the Menger Hotel. Please note, there is no free parking in downtown San Antonio.
