Ticket Information
- Seating is limited.
- Individual tickets are $100 each and include seating at the dinner and lecture, and admission to the book signing. Half of ticket cost is tax-deductible.
- Table Sponsorships are $1250 and include seating for ten at the dinner and lecture, and admission to the book signing reception that follows, a complimentary copy of The First Billion is the Hardest, recognition in the program. $750 is tax-deductible.
- Golden Circle Sponsorships are $2000 and include admission to the VIP Reception, premium seating for ten at the dinner and lecture, and admission to the book signing reception, two complimentary copies of The First Billion is the Hardest, recognition in the program and publicity releases. $1500 is tax-deductible
- We offer donors the chance to attend an exclusive VIP reception with the author. To attend you may:
- make donations to the Library at the level of $1,000 per year
- make lifetime gifts to the Library totaling $25,000
- make a planned gift to the Library
- become a Golden Circle Sponsor of this year's event

- Last day to place reservations is Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Reservations will be held at the door the evening of the event.
- Booksigning reception is at 6:15 p.m. Pickens' book The First Billion is the Hardest will be available for purchase. Guest are welcome to bring personal copies to be signed. Dinner follows; the program is A conversation with Boone Pickens. The interviewer is OSU President Burns Hargis.

Method of Payment
Free Tickets for OSU Students
Students, email us your name, birth date, e-mail address, phone number, and 100 words or less about why you want to attend. We will not be able to consider your entry without complete information.
Winners will be drawn. Number of winners is dependent of availability of student sponsorships. All entrants will be contacted between August 28 and September 2. Winners will attend the book singing reception, dinner and program. You will be asked to write a brief thank you note to the donor who sponsored your attendance.
