Library Welcomes Chad Haney, Director of Development

"There are so many opportunities available at the Library for people to give back. Whether you have an interest in students, special collections, research, or the building itself there is something for everyone." That is what Chad Haney says attracted him to Library Development.

Last November, Chad joined the Library as Director of Development. He hit the ground running with the annual Cobb Speaker Series just two days after his arrival. Prior to this appointment, he was Associate Director of Development at the OSU Alumni Center and an Account Executive for OSU Athletics.

Chad is a Stillwater native and an OSU alum. It seems attending OSU is a family tradition for the Haneys. Chad’s parents, Joe and Pam, are alumni and his brother and sister are both current students.

If you ask Chad what he is most looking forward to at the Library, he’ll tell you it is meeting all of the great OSU people and hearing about their time on campus. “I love playing a small role in helping the Library achieve its goals for the future.”

Chad lives in Stillwater with his wife Jillian and their two sons Crayton and Carter.
