Noon Concert Series featuring saxophone and trumpet ensembles

The Noon Concert Series features students from the OSU Music Department performing free concerts in an informal setting. The concerts are open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring lunch; drinks and dessert are provided. This popular series showcases students' talents and provides continued cultural programming in the Library. This series is sponsored by the Edmon Low Library Staff Association, the Friends of the OSU Library and the OSU Music Department.

OSU is Development Partner on Award-Winning Project

The New Literacies Alliance (NLA) project is an online platform that addresses the “new” literacies required for academic success and lifelong learning and that allows students to master skills at their own pace. OSU is among the partner institutions on the 2016 ACRL Innovation Award-winning project.


Calling All OSU Authors

Each spring, the OSU Library honors OSU employees and students who have authored, co-authored or edited a book or published a major creative work such as musical composition, art exhibit catalog or audio recording in the past two years. Recent book authors are invited to add their name to the list of honorees.

February's Science Cafe examines the advances in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine with Dr. Heather Fahlenkamp, OSU School of Chemical Engineering, and Dr. Jim Smay, OSU-Tulsa School of Materials Science and Engineering.

The Great War & Its Legacy featuring Thomas Carlson

The Great Game, the Great War, and the Mess of the Modern Middle East

This series commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Great War with discussions on all the aspects of life that changed in the aftermath of WWI. This series looks at the wider impact of the War on life and culture of the U.S. and world, and also focuses on its impact on Oklahoma, the Payne country region and OAMC.
