A Noteworthy Evening 2010

The Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room was transformed into a cabaret nightclub when the OSU Library hosted the fifth annual Noteworthy Evening.

The 2010 fundraiser was held on April 16 from 7-9 p.m. The event featured performances by

  • Rebecca Cook, Vocal Performance Junior from Owasso, OK
  • Stephen Cunningham, Vocal Performance & Pedagogy Master’s student
    from Corpus Christi, TX
  • Anthony Edds, Vocal Performance Junior from Waco, TX
  • Paige Martin, Vocal Performance Freshman from Anadarko, OK
  • Jamie May, Vocal Performance Senior from Tulsa, OK
  • Morgan Reynolds, Vocal Performance Sophomore from Perkins, OK
  • John Richins, Music Freshman from Abilene, TX
  • Maegon Swearingin, Vocal Performance Sophomore from Dewey, OK
  • Zac Engle, Vocal Performance Senior from Ponca City, OK
  • Jamelle Lynch, Nutrition Senior from Oklahoma City, OK
  • Laurynn Smith, Vocal Performance Senior from Tulsa, OK
  • Steven Eslick, Music Education Senior from Bristow, OK

The performers were joined by collaborative pianists Dana Ayers and Chris Reed.

A Noteworthy Evening is an annual concert benefiting the Friends' Music Collection Endowment, which purchases Library materials supporting the study of music. The event is presented in collaboration with the Friends of the OSU Library and the Friends of Music.
