In this Update:
The Library has added two new historic newspaper collections to its digital holdings. The first collection is a searchable group of South Asian newspapers made available through the World Newspaper Archive. OSU Libraries had previously acquired access to the Latin American and African newspaper collections of the Archive. Scholars looking to study the African American experience will be better able to do so using the African American Newspapers collection. This is a full text digital collection covering African American newspapers from 1827-1998. Researchers may search and then print or download articles from newspapers such as The Northern Star and Freemanís Advocate, and the Cleveland Gazette to name but a few.
Journal Citation Reports
The 2010 Journal Citation Reports has added regional content. JCR provides a combination of impact influence metrics and millions of cited and citing journal data points that comprise the complete journal citation network of Web of Science.
Call for OSU Authors
Each spring, the Library honors OSU employees who have produced a book or major creative work in the past two years. In order to recognize these works, we need to identify the faculty and staff who have produced them.
Notify us of recent authors by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We will contact them for more information.
