STILLWATER - Members of the OSU community have access to more than 115,000 eBooks through the OSU Library.

The eBooks can be accessed from the Library’s website through electronic libraries such as NetLibrary, Knovel, and Early English Books Online (EEBO).

“The eBooks are especially good for technical books, because when a field of study changes, there are not volumes and volumes of outdated information taking up space,” said Christina Biles, Digital Services Librarian.

Services like Knovel deal predominantly with sciences like engineering, chemistry and physics, while services like EEBO contain works by early English authors.

“Knovel is really useful and neat because along with books, it has data sets and tables readily available for manipulation,” said Beth Reiten, Digital Services Librarian.

These services are free of charge, and students and faculty are encouraged to make use of these resources.

To access the OSU Library’s collection of eBooks visit www.library.okstate.edu, or for more information, contact Digital Library Services at (405) 744-9161, toll-free outside of Stillwater at (877) 744-9161 or lib-dls@okstate.edu.
