OSU Regents Professor Research Seminar Series with Dr. Jayson Lusk

STILLWATER -Regents Professor Research Seminar Series presents Dr. Jayson Lusk: “Why People Lie on Surveys and How to Make Them Stop.”
The seminar is Oct. 16 from 4-5:30 p.m. in the Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room, Edmon Low Library. The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Lusk will discuss several biases known to exist in survey research. He will report on innovations, such as experimental auctions, multi-donation elicitation formats, inferred valuation and indirect questioning.
Dr. Lusk is a professor and Willard Sparks Endowed Chair in the Department of Agricultural Economics at OSU. He conducts research related to consumer behavior and decision making, food and livestock marketing policy and non-market valuation.
