The Friends’ Music Collection Endowment purchases Library materials supporting the study of music. In 2006, the Friends of the OSU Library gave the endowment its start by donating the first $5,000. The endowment was grown with funds from the annual fundraiser, A Noteworthy Evening, a partnership of the Friends of the OSU Library and the Friends of Music. By the second Noteworthy Evening event in 2007, the account hit the $10,000 threshold to endow the fund.
