The Center for Oklahoma Studies hosts its 2010 Fall Symposium, Images of Oklahoma on Oct. 8. This multidisciplinary program and exhibit focuses on the physical, cultural, and vernacular landscapes of Oklahoma and artistic representations of those landscapes. The program will be held in Willard Hall 010. Professor Wilbur Zelinsky from Penn State University will give the keynote address.
This symposium is presented by the Oklahoma State University Center for Oklahoma Studies and sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences, OSU Library and departments of English and history. Funding for this program is provided in part by a grant from the Oklahoma Humanities Council (OHC) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Any views findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed in this program do not necessarily represent those of OHC or NEH.
