Noon Concert Series Spring 2008 Kickoff

STILLWATER -The Oklahoma State University Library kicks off the spring 2008 Noon Concert Series on Thursday. Jan. 10, 2008 in the Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room. The first installment features the trombone and horn quartets.
Upcoming concerts will be held February 28, featuring the trombone choir and brass quintet; March 13, featuring Woodwind Chamber Music; and April 17, featuring brass ensembles.
“It’s such a wonderful thing to be able to cooperate with the Music Department on the Noon Concert Series, especially because it’s something we all benefit from,” said Barbara Miller, documents librarian and co-chair of the Noon Concert Series.
In extension of the partnership created for the Noon Concert Series at the Library, the Friends of the OSU Library and the Friends of Music have established a Library Endowment to support the study of music. Individuals can contribute to the Friends’ Music Collection Endowment at any time by sending donations to 216 Library, Stillwater, OK 74078-1071.
