STILLWATER - The OSU Library’s will host a “Noteworthy Evening” on Friday, April 3 at 7 pm. Performances by students of the OSU music department will showcase a variety of styles and influences from some of history’s most influential composers.
A dessert reception will follow the performance. Performers will be on hand to speak with guests.
This is the fourth annual event to raise funds for the Friends’ Music Collection Endowment and celebrate the ongoing partnership of the Friends of the OSU Library and the Friends of Music. Proceeds from “Noteworthy Evening” go to the purchase of library materials for the study of music.
Director of Development Chad Haney said past performances were met with wonderful reviews.
“I expect this one to be no different,” Haney said. “The OSU music department has helped cultivate the skills of many talented performers in the field, and those that attend will find out just how amazing these performers truly are.”
To make reservations for the event, call 405-744-7901. Tickets are $30 each, $25 of the ticket is tax-deductible. Dress is business attire, and parking is available in the Student Union Parking Garage.
