Library Wireless Access Intermittent
Access point relocation impacts connectivity
April 8, 2009
For Immediate Release
STILLWATER -This week, OSU IT staff will relocate several wireless access points throughout the Edmon Low Library. This work will, at times, impact the wireless Internet connection in small portions of the building.
This work was recommended after an evaluation of signal strength throughout the building. The goal is to improve overall wireless availability in all areas.
Technicians are unable to predict the exact times and locations of outages. Library visitors experiencing a complete loss of wireless signal during this time are encouraged to relocate to another floor.
