Spring Into The Noon Concert Series
Schedule set for student performances

STILLWATER -The Noon Concert Series returns to the OSU Library with performances throughout the spring semester. The first concert is scheduled for Jan. 26 featuring the brass quintets and trumpet ensembles.
“The free performances in the Noon Concert Series at the Library have been popular with both the OSU and Stillwater communities,” OSU librarian, David Oberhelman, said. “The series showcases the many talented student musicians at OSU and allows everyone to enjoy the arts in a relaxed setting.”
Other upcoming concerts to look for this semester include
- Thurs. Feb. 16: Opera Scenes
- Thurs. March 15: Horn and Trombone Ensembles
- Thurs. April 5: New Music at Noon feat. the Frontiers New Music Ensemble
- Tues. April 17: Piano Classics
All concerts are held in the Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room over the noon hour. The series of concerts is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome to bring sack lunches, and light refreshments and dessert will be provided.
Sponsors of the series include the Edmon Low Library Staff Association, the Friends of the OSU Library and the OSU Music Department.
