On the second floor, electrical outlets will be upgraded and flooring will be replaced. On the first, fourth and fifth floor lighting in the north addition will be upgraded.

Throughout the summer, handicap access to the building will be available at the north entrance; all staff locations remain the same; and any material housed in construction areas can be requested at the Circulation Desk.
During the first stage, the second floor will be closed to the public, and the north portion of the first floor will be under construction.

  • Check availability of study rooms at the Circulation Desk.
  • The Dean's Office, Cataloging and Acquisition staff areas may be accessed via the north or center stairwells and elevators. Open stairwells will be marked.
  • Ask at the Circulation or Reference Desk for material on the second floor.
  • Call 405-744-6311 or ask at the Reference Desk for Special Collections & University Archives assistance.
Second floor construction will continue through the summer. The first floor project should be completed in a few weeks, and lighting upgrades will continue for the north addition on fourth and then fifth floors.
