Anna Belle Wiedemann was interviewed May 2, 2007 as part of the Women of the Oklahoma Legislature Oral History Project. Mrs. Wiedemann was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 1967 and served through 1972. She represented House District 43 and was a member of the Democratic Party. She discusses her path to the legislature including growing up on a farm in Piedmont, Oklahoma and eventually becoming a rancher. Mrs. Wiedemann shares memories surrounding her campaigns as well as talks about some of the bills she sponsored.
