Tanya joined the OSU Library in 1999 following a 10 year career in social work and has been with the OOHRP since the fall of 2006. She holds a master’s in Library and Information Science from The University of Tennessee and a doctorate in Human Development and Family Science, with an emphasis in gerontology, from Oklahoma State University.
Her oral history interviews include women who have served in the Oklahoma legislature, owners of Oklahoma centennial farms, retired women extension educators, Oklahomans with memories of the 1930s, and African Americans with memories of Muskogee prior to the 1970s.
