Manage the shelving function of the main collection (basement, first, Browsing Room, third and fourth floors). Supervise the prompt and accurate return of books and bound periodicals to the shelves. Manage the stack maintenance function of the main collection (basement, first, second, third, and fourth) and serve as a consultant in Government Documents and the four Library branches. Manage a remote storage facility at the North Boomer Annex for materials, furniture, and equipment for which there is no room in the main Library building, or in the branches. Prepare the Browsing Room and Reading Rooms for special events. Manage a continuous shelf-reading project. Pull material from the Main Library to be moved to the Library Auxiliary.

Required Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, or Library Science
Four year's experience. Two year's in library. Experience with management of part-time or student employees. Experience with project planning and implementation.
Excellent managemet and supevisory skills. Proficient communication skills.
Required Experience building stacks and shelving. Experience planning and moving materials.
