The Edmon Low Library has an opening for a student assistant in Interlibrary Services, to work approximately 15-20 hours per week in the fall. Hours will be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday with an occasional Sunday.
*Preference will be given to students who can remain through the spring semester.*
Responsibilities include book and journal retrieval, photocopying, scanning of books/journals, general office duties, packaging and mailing, and detail-oriented tasks.
MUST BE ENROLLED AT LEAST PART-TIME (6 HOURS UNDERGRADUATE/ 4 HOURS GRADUATE). GRADUATE STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THESIS HOURS WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED.

Working hours will be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Interviews for this position will be held in Interlibrary Services.

The OSU Library has an opening for a Security Student Assistant. The student assistant works in conjunction with the Security Coordinator.
Hours:
Responsibilities:
The security assistant is responsible for the security of the building, handling building emergencies, interpreting library policy to patrons or staff, opening and closing of the building and patrolling the building to ensure patrons are in compliance with the library’s rules of conduct (which may also include moving some furniture). The security assistant will be required to attend various meetings and training sessions. In addition, the Security Student Assistant monitors patrons entering and exiting the building.
Must have personal phone and be willing to receive calls regarding job schedules and duties. Must change work schedule as necessary and carry a security cell phone while on duty.
Requirements:
MUST BE ENROLLED AT LEAST PART-TIME (6 HOURS UNDERGRADUATE/ 4 HOURS GRADUATE). GRADUATE STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THESIS HOURS WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED.

The Edmon Low Library has an opening for a Student Assistant to work at least 10 hours per week. Work will be scheduled Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday with an occasional weekend.
Requirements:
Must have typing, filing, and basic keyboarding skills. Ability to pay close attention to detail is required. Preference will be given to students who can remain through the spring semester.
Responsibilities:
Book and journal retrieval and shelving, photocopying, scanning of books/journals, general office duties, packaging library items, and detail-oriented tasks. Basic library jobs. Able to lift objects up to 40 lbs. Basic computer skills are required.
MUST BE ENROLLED AT LEAST PART-TIME (6 HOURS UNDERGRADUATE/ 4 HOURS GRADUATE). GRADUATE STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THESIS HOURS WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERED.

The OSU Library has an opening for a Student Assistant II to work 12-15 hours per week, initially between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday - Friday. Alternative schedule may be possible after training is complete. Consideration will only be given to students who can work in the summer and next academic year.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for repairing/mending of damaged/deteriorated books. Follow established preservation and restoration procedures to preserve the library’s circulating collections. Use a computer to check in the books to be mended, and evaluate them for treatment methods.
Special Skills and Abilities:
