STUDENT ASSISTANT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The OSU Library has an opening for a Security Student position.  The student assistant works in conjunction with the Security Coordinator. 

Hours:

Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 2am-7am (schedule non-negotiable).

Responsibilities:  The security assistant is responsible for the security of the building, handling building emergencies, interpreting library policy to patrons or staff and patrolling the building to ensure patrons are in compliance with the library’s rules of conduct (which may also include moving some furniture). The security assistant will be required to attend various meetings and training sessions. In addition, the Security Student Assistant monitors patrons entering and exiting the building. 

Must have personal phone and be willing to receive calls regarding job schedules and duties. Must change work schedule as necessary and carry a security cell phone while on duty. 

Requirements:

• Must have at least two full semester of experience at OSU Stillwater
• Must be able to work over 10 hours if needed

Pay Rate: Students who are hired for this position will be paid $12.00/hr.

MUST BE ENROLLED AT LEAST PART-TIME (6 HOURS UNDERGRADUATE).

STUDENT ASSISTANT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

 

The OSU Library has an opening for a Circulation Student position.  The student assistant works in conjunction with the Circulation Coordinator. 

Hours:
           

  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 2am-7am       

Responsibilities:  The students in this position will check in and out laptops and the peripherals associated with them. They will also be responsible for paper and toner in the public printers as needed. The students working in this position will also be able to check in and out Main Library books as well as Inter-Library Services books.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work over 10 hours if needed

Pay Rate:
             $12/Hour

MUST BE ENROLLED AT LEAST PART-TIME (6 HOURS UNDERGRADUATE).
