Electronic Sources

  Provides access to reviews from scholarly and general magazines.
  Coverage Dates: 1985 - present
  Availability: Many reviews available full-text.
  Tip: Type "book review" and either the title or author or a combination of these.

• Proquest
  Provides access to reviews from scholarly and general magazines.
  Coverage Dates: 1985 - present
  Availability: Many reviews available full-text.
  Tip: Type either the title or author name in the search box and then go to the Article Type box and scroll down until "book review" appears and click.

• Factiva
  Provides access to reviews from scholarly and general magazines, as well as book review sections from major newspapers.
  Coverage Dates: 1981 - present
  Availability: Most reviews available full-text.
  Tip: Type the author's last name and the title of the book and the word "review".

• JSTOR
  Provides full text reviews from older scholarly publications.
  Coverage Dates: Varies. From the late 1800's up to 3-5 years before the present.
  Availability: Reviews available full-text.
  Tip: Type the author's name in one search box (leave the setting at full-text), the book title in the next search box (again leaving the setting at full-text) and limit by reviews in the "limit by type" field.
