Vingie E. Roe, ca. early 1900s Vingie E. Roe Collection, 1879-1980

Vingie E. Roe (1879-1958) wrote novels (1912-1957) with the theme of a romanticized wild west. She grew up in Oklahoma Territory married and divorced Raymond C. Lawton and in 1907 moved to the west coast, settling in northern California.
