The Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room of the Edmon Low Library is available on a limited basis for special functions, such as receptions, programs, and lectures, which support the University's mission. Except as noted, the room is available during business hours, Monday through Friday. The room is not available during Dead Week or Finals Week. Approval or denial of requests will follow established university library policies and will include consideration of inconvenience to individuals who use the Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room for study. A modest fee will be assessed for the use of the room in accordance with the fee schedule below.
Public or private events:
$100.00 per hour with a minimum fee of $100.00 (fees include ½ hour of set-up before and
$35.00 per event. If post-recital refreshments are brought in, an additional $15.00
(Note: a $25.00 cleanup charge may be added to any event with refreshments that spill and/or cause damages)
Items available for use in the Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room at no additional charge include: one, eight-foot folding tables; a podium with sound system; a five-foot screen; a nine-foot screen; projector; laptop computer. Items available for an additional charge include: fifteen, six-foot round-tables and 100 stacking chairs. Please inquire about charges for the use of this equipment.

Failure to Carry Out Responsibilities:
Any individual or group failing to carry out these responsibilities may be denied further use of the Peggy V. Helmerich Browsing Room and may incur charges related to damages or staff time.
