Computers in the Brock Memorial Library

A variety of freely available and population-specific computers are available in the Brock Memorial Library. The following descriptions will aid you in determining which type of computer will best meet your needs when visiting the Library. Printing is available from most computers.

Public Computer Stations

There are two types of public computer stations freely available for use:

Center for Veterinary Health Sciences Computer Lab

There are five computer stations available for use exclusively by current OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences Students -- use of these workstations by others is prohibited. These stations are located on the Mezzanine of the Brock Memorial Library. These stations provide access to the Internet, programs such as Microsoft Office®, hard-drive, floppy drive, CD-Drive, USB Drive and Center for Veterinary Health Sciences I: drive.

Assistive Technology Computer Station

One Adaptive Technology Station is available on First Floor for those requiring the assistance of a screen reader or other adaptive technologies. The Brock Memorial Library does not provide training or support for this computer station - please contact the Technology Resources Department at the Center for Veterinary Health Sciences.

Wireless Access

WiFi wireless Internet access is available for current OSU Faculty, Staff, and Students at locations across OSU including the Brock Memorial Library. Information about OSU Wireless Coverage, a map, and a Users Guide including information about configuration are available from OSU IT.

No Wired Access Available

Plugging a personal device (e.g. laptop) into the computer network in the Brock Memorial Library is prohibited by the Technology Resources Department of the Center for Veterinary Health Sciences.
