Extensive reference assistance is intended for OSU students, faculty, and staff. If you are not currently affiliated with OSU, we can respond only to questions about the unique collections and resources of the Brock Memorial Library.

Responses to email questions are usually sent within three working days.

Email reference is best suited to questions requiring short, factual answers. For example, we can:

• verify bibliographic citation information
• look up addresses and/or phone numbers of companies, institutions, associations, or government entities
• offer advice about appropriate sources to search
• offer advice about appropriate search strategies
• answer questions about OSU Library services
