Publishing Evolution of the Veterinary Clinics of North America

Veterinary Clinics of North America are currently published as four separate sets.

• From 1971-1978 the title was Veterinary Clinics of North America.
• In 1979, the publication split into two sets: Veterinary Clinics of North America: Small Animal Practice and Veterinary Clinics of North America: Large Animal Practice.
• In 1985, Veterinary Clinics of North America: Large Animal Practice ceased and was replaced by two new titles: Veterinary Clinics of North America: Equine Practice, and Veterinary Clinics of North America: Food Animal Practice.
• In 1998, the publishers added: Veterinary Clinics of North America: Exotic Animal Practice.
