Trivia Challenge Set to Crown New Champion
Seventh-Annual Smartie Pants Event Returns to OSU Library

STILLWATER -The OSU Library will play host to a rousing game of trivia at the seventh-annual Smartie Pants Trivia Night Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m. in the Anne Morris Greenwood Reading Room.
Smartie Pants Trivia Night invites teams of eight to compete in a game of trivia and support the Stillwater Area United Way at the same time. The winning team will receive boxer shorts, trophies and bragging rights for the year. Participants will also have chances to win individual prizes in the mystery bonus round.
“I think every year people really anticipate and prepare for this event. They are very competitive and really want to win the pair of boxer shorts, the trophy, and most importantly, the bragging rights,” Catalog Librarian Misty Smith said.
The categories for this year’s trivia night are: Games People Play, Current Events, True Crime, Stars on the Sidewalk, It’s Raining Cats and Dogs, Who Wore That?, Name That Tune and a Mystery Bonus Round.
The trivia night is open to everyone. Incomplete teams or single participants will be grouped into eight-person teams upon arrival. The cost is $10 per person or $80 per team.
Hideaway pizza, drinks and desserts will be available for purchase, and all proceeds benefit the Stillwater Area United Way. The event is co-sponsored by OSU Parking and Transit Services.
